This update focuses on bugfixes and performance improvements, but it also includes a new outfit for Susan.
There’s the addition of a new, improved colour picker that was rewritten in shading language to improve efficiency and bring back live preview capability.
Additionally, a new option named “Crash Defender” has been added for Android users in an effort to resolve the problem for impacted android devices, but it needs to be explicitly enabled and configured to work. You can access Crash Defender via the accessibility menu.
For a complete list of changes, please refer to the changelog.
This update heavily focuses on performance, addressing long-standing android issues, and other technical aspects of the game that had to be addressed. Due to how extensive those changes are, old saves are incompatible, and we are putting out an alpha release to gather feedback from as many devices as possible.
One of the few significant changes include added multi-threading support, android crash fixes, improved assets loading, reduced overall game size (~30% PC & MAC, and ~50% Android), and more.
If you were experiencing performance issues or crashes in the past versions, we highly recommend testing out this new build, it should provide you with an overall better experience, especially on Android devices. Please don’t hesitate to share your experiences in our feedback channel, and if you encounter a bug, please report it in bug reports channel instead. We very much appreciate all feedback we receive.
Susan’s new model has been finished and is included in this release, putting a nail into the Character Overhaul milestone. New model includes dozens of new expressions, a set of school uniforms, muggle clothing, and three sets of underwear.
Hermione’s gift section has expanded and now includes a new set of toys along with three new events. You can get the new toys from the item store and hand them over to Hermione in the same manner you can do with collars, or potions. If you succeed at convincing Hermione to try the new toys, you will be able to access them in the wardrobe, making the deal more ‘permanent’, in a way.
Additionally, Genie’s model has been redrawn from scratch to be more consistent with other characters style wise, and to support clothing layers and expressions.
Web Updater
Another thing we’ve worked on this past two months, is a new automatic update system that downloads and applies updates (after confirmation) as they become available, including engine updates that were not possible to apply by our past implementation. This new method should allow us to rapidly deploy game patches and updates. Update settings can be changed in the options. The updater is available for Mac, Linux, and Windows devices.
The return of Version Control System
Over the past few weeks, we have been working hard to add version control back to the project, and would like to announce the return of a public git repository. Yes, you have heard it right! You will be able to access development versions of the game, track the changes live, and access a subset of git features.
Our new and faithful discord bot will post updates on the server each time there’s a new git event.
As requested, we are now providing a build archive containing the past, and future game builds for all platforms. A link to the archive is available on our website.
Furthermore, you should no longer be affected by Mega transfer limits while downloading the game using our links because we share our transfer quota with all users.
That concludes today’s update post, but more will follow shortly. Stay tuned and have a lovely day!

This post will focus on what we’re working on and the contents of our next release.
Our next release, labelled ‘technical update’, is a smaller update that focuses on improving performance, fixing crashes on Android devices, and laying the groundwork for future features such as translation support, improved developer tools, or event tracking.
Susan’s redrawn model will be included, as well as new sets of clothing.
Some of Hermione’s events, namely ‘plug events’, will be moved into inventory systems, similar to the collars. The “plugs” will also be added as a wearable item in her wardrobe.
We’ll be providing a pre-release version to volunteers for the technical update, to ensure its stability before it goes public.
On top of the above, we are also working on a new set of events for Hermione, which will be released following the technical update.
This event was teased on Patreon a few days ago, but what we didn’t mention is that the event will be split across public and personal variants, each containing a unique set of CG scenes.
We’d also like to mention that our artist, Boppin, decided to start streaming some of their work starting tomorrow at 2 p.m. GMT.
If you want to see Picasso 🧑🎨 at work, make sure to tune into the stream. They’ll be posting in the #live-streams channel on the Discord whenever they go live.
The last Quidditch match of the season, Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor, is finally here!
We highly recommend revisiting Cho’s content because it includes a host of fresh and updated events, animated CG, as well as a public variation for one of the earlier matches, and more.
Of course, whilst this update marks the end of the quidditch season, it does not spell the end of Cho’s content, as she will undoubtedly appear in future updates.
Why are you still reading? Get out there, identify the Gryffindor team’s flaws, and guide your pupil to victory!
For a complete list of changes, please refer to the changelog. Be advised, it contains heavy spoilers!
Today’s post will focus on what we’re currently working on for the much-anticipated version 1.42 update.
The majority of the preparations have been completed. We’re finishing up artwork QA and implementation right now, and we’ll be starting testing soon.
Since this update’s main focus is on Cho, we combed through old content, improving both the plot and the artwork that we felt was previously lacking polish. Additional sequences during key quidditch matches with (avoidable) public content are one of the new additions.
We’d also like to let you know that the new Susan model will be deferred until the next update because we don’t think rushing it would be a good decision. Quality over quantity.
That pretty much sums up this progress report. Keep an eye on things, be safe, and stay horny. 💖
